Dupixent expands indications

Dupixent FDA approved as the first biologic medicine for young children with chronic spontaneous urticaria

On April 22, Sanofi and Regeneron announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Dupixent (dupilumab) to expand its use for the treatment of children aged 2 to 11 years with chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) who remain symptomatic despite histamine-1 (H1) antihistamine (H1AH) treatment. Previous approval was for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.
